How Do You Convert WebP to PDF?
To convert WebP to PDF, add your WebP images, choose a page size (Same as image, A4 or US Letter), an orientation, a margin and a quality level, keep “Combine all images into one PDF” switched on for a single file, then click Convert to PDF and download the result. Teasoft's converter runs entirely in your browser, so your images are never uploaded to a server.
WebP is a modern image format from Google that most websites now use because it keeps images small. That is great for web pages but awkward everywhere else: many printers, email clients, government portals and older apps cannot open WebP files. A WebP to PDF converter solves this by placing each WebP image on its own PDF page, giving you one document that opens, prints and uploads anywhere, with your pages kept in order.
Everything happens on your own device. Your browser decodes each WebP image, and a small open-source PDF library builds the PDF right there and hands it straight to you. Nothing is sent to a server, so it is safe to use for private images such as ID cards, certificates, receipts and signed forms saved in WebP format.
Pick your page size:
| Page size | What you get | Choose it when |
|---|---|---|
| Same as image | Each page is the exact size and shape of its image, with nothing cropped and no white border. | You want the PDF to look exactly like your WebP images, or the images are all different sizes. |
| A4 | Standard 210 × 297 mm pages, used in India, Europe and most of the world. | You will print the PDF or upload it to a form or portal that expects A4. |
| US Letter | Standard 8.5 × 11 inch pages, used in the US and Canada. | You will print in North America, or the person receiving it asked for Letter size. |
Common reasons to convert WebP to PDF:
- Product images, infographics or articles saved from a website as WebP, collected into one PDF.
- Uploading to job, university or government portals that accept PDF but not WebP.
- Printing WebP images, since many printers and print shops do not support the format.
- Emailing several images as one tidy attachment instead of many separate files.
- Sharing with people on older computers or apps that cannot open WebP.
- Keeping receipts, tickets or documents downloaded as WebP in a format that lasts.
What each setting does:
| Setting | What it does | When to use it |
|---|---|---|
| Page size | Same as image, A4 or US Letter. | Same as image for a clean digital PDF. A4 or US Letter for printing and forms. |
| Orientation | Auto turns each page to match its image (wide images get landscape pages). Portrait or Landscape sets every page the same way. | Auto for a mix of images. Portrait for documents. Landscape for wide banners, charts and infographics. |
| Margin | No margin, Small margin (about 10 mm) or Big margin (about 20 mm) of white space around each image. | No margin for on-screen viewing. Small or Big margin for printing, so nothing gets cut off at the edges. |
| Quality | Sets how each image is compressed inside the PDF, from 10% to 100% (default 90%). | 90–100% for text, charts and printing. 60–80% when you need a smaller file for email or uploads. |
| Combine all images into one PDF | On: one PDF with one page per image. Off: a separate PDF for each image, downloaded together as a ZIP. | On for a single document. Off when every image needs to be its own file. |
Orientation and margin apply to A4 and US Letter pages. With Same as image, each page simply matches its image.
Good to know
- Only WebP images are accepted. The tool takes .webp files. For JPG photos use JPG to PDF, and for PNG images and screenshots use PNG to PDF.
- Transparent areas become white. Each image is placed on a white background, so any transparent parts of a WebP image appear white in the PDF.
- Animated WebP files become a still page. PDF pages cannot play animation, so only one frame (normally the first) is added to the PDF.
- Quality controls file size. Images are stored in the PDF as JPEG at the quality you choose. The default 90% looks almost identical to the original, while lower values make smaller files.
- Extremely large images are scaled down. To keep your browser from running out of memory, images over 16,384 pixels on a side or about 67 megapixels (about 16 megapixels on iPhone and iPad) are resized to fit.
What You Can Do With This Tool
- Convert WebP to PDF in your browser. No software to install and no account to create.
- Combine many WebP images into one PDF. Each image becomes its own page, in the order you choose.
- Make a separate PDF for each image. Turn off Combine and download every PDF together in one ZIP file.
- Reorder pages before converting. Move any image up or down the list.
- Choose the page size. A4, US Letter or Same as image.
- Set the orientation. Auto, Portrait or Landscape.
- Add a margin. No margin, Small margin or Big margin of white space around each image.

- Free with no watermark. No sign-up and no logo added to your pages.
Which PDF Tool Should I Use?
Use WebP to PDF when your images are in WebP format, such as pictures saved from websites and online stores. If your images are JPG photos or scans, use JPG to PDF, and for PNG screenshots and graphics, use PNG to PDF. Once your PDF is ready, the tools below help you merge, shrink or convert it.
How to Convert WebP to PDF (3 Steps)
Add your WebP images
Drag and drop, click Add, or browse to pick your WebP files. Add up to 50 images, each up to 150 MB, then reorder or remove any you need.
Choose the settings
Pick the page size, orientation, margin and quality. Keep “Combine all images into one PDF” on for a single file, or turn it off for one PDF per image.
Convert and download
Click Convert to PDF, then Download. A single PDF downloads directly, and separate PDFs come together in one ZIP file.
Tip: for documents you will print or upload to a government, university or job portal, choose A4 with a Small margin and keep quality at 90%. For images you only want to share on screen, choose Same as image and lower the quality to 70–80% for a smaller file.
Which Settings Should I Use?
| Your goal | Page size | Orientation | Margin | Quality |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Web images collected for a report | A4 | Auto | Small margin | 90% |
| Receipts or documents for an online form | A4 | Portrait | Small margin | 90% |
| Product photos or a catalogue to share | Same as image | Automatic | Not needed | 80% |
| Infographics or posters to print | A4 | Portrait | Small margin | 100% |
| Wide banners or charts to print | A4 | Landscape | Small margin | 90% |
| Printing in the US or Canada | US Letter | Auto | Small or Big margin | 90% |
| Smallest file for email | Same as image | Automatic | Not needed | 60–70% |
These are starting points. Open the PDF and check every page before you send or upload it.
One PDF or separate PDFs?
| Choose | When |
|---|---|
| One combined PDF | The images are pages of the same document, such as a set of product images, a saved article or a multi-page receipt. |
| Separate PDFs (ZIP) | Each image is a different document, for example when a portal asks for your ID, photo and certificate as separate files. |
Do I need a margin?
For printing, yes. Most printers can’t print right to the edge of the paper, so a Small margin stops the edges of your image being cut off. For on-screen viewing, No margin lets the image use the whole page.
What does Auto orientation do?
It looks at each image and uses a landscape page for wide images and a portrait page for tall ones, so every image fills as much of its page as possible. Choose Portrait or Landscape if all pages must face the same way.
Getting better results from WebP images
- Use the full-size image. Save the original WebP from the website (right-click and choose Save image as) rather than a small thumbnail, so the PDF stays sharp.
- Keep quality high for text. Images with small text, charts or diagrams look cleanest at 90% or higher.
- Lower the quality for big batches. 70–80% noticeably shrinks the PDF while photos still look good.
- Check transparent images. Logos and graphics with transparent backgrounds will sit on white, so make sure light-coloured parts are still visible.
- Put pages in order first. Use the up and down arrows to arrange your images before you click Convert to PDF.
After you convert to PDF
- Join it with other files. Use Merge PDF to add your new PDF to other PDF documents.
- Make it smaller. Many large, high-quality images can make a big PDF. Use Compress PDF to fit email and portal upload limits.
- Fix a page that faces the wrong way. Use Rotate PDF to turn any page.
- Sign or protect it. Use Sign PDF to add your signature, or Protect PDF to add a password.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I convert WebP to PDF?
Open Teasoft's WebP to PDF Converter, add your WebP images, choose the page size, orientation, margin and quality, then click Convert to PDF and download your file. It takes only a few seconds in any modern browser.
How do I combine multiple WebP images into one PDF?
Add all your images, keep “Combine all images into one PDF” switched on, arrange them in the order you want with the up and down arrows, then click Convert to PDF. You get one PDF with one page per image.
Is the WebP to PDF converter free?
Yes. It is free, with no sign-up, no watermark and no hidden charges.
Are my images uploaded to a server?
No. The PDF is created in your browser and your images never leave your device, so it is safe for private and confidential files.
Does converting WebP to PDF reduce image quality?
Only slightly, and you control it. Each WebP is stored in the PDF as a JPEG at the quality you choose. At the default 90% the pages look almost identical to the originals. Choose 100% for the best quality or a lower value for a smaller file.
Can I make a separate PDF for each image?
Yes. Turn off “Combine all images into one PDF” before you convert. Each image becomes its own PDF, and they download together in one ZIP file.
What page sizes can I choose?
Same as image (each page matches its image), A4 (210 × 297 mm) or US Letter (8.5 × 11 inches).
Can I change the page orientation?
Yes. Auto gives wide images a landscape page and tall images a portrait page. You can also set every page to Portrait or Landscape.
Can I add a margin around the images?
Yes. Choose No margin, Small margin (about 10 mm) or Big margin (about 20 mm) of white space around each image.
Can I change the order of the pages?
Yes. Pages follow the order of your image list. Use the up and down arrows next to each image to move it before you convert.
Why is my PDF file so large?
PDF size depends mainly on how many images you add, their pixel size and the quality setting. Lower the quality to 70–80%, or run the finished file through Compress PDF to make it smaller.
What happens to transparent WebP backgrounds?
Transparent areas become white, because each image is placed on a white background in the PDF. The visible parts of the image are not affected.
How many images can I convert at once?
Up to 50 images in one go, each up to 150 MB.
Which file types does it accept?
WebP images (.webp) only. For JPG photos use JPG to PDF, and for PNG images and screenshots use PNG to PDF.
Can I convert animated WebP files?
Yes, but the PDF shows a still image. PDF pages cannot play animation, so only one frame of an animated WebP (normally the first) is added.
Will my PDF have a watermark?
No. Your PDF contains only your images, with no watermark or logo added.
Can I convert WebP to PDF on my phone?
Yes. The tool works in the browser on Android phones and iPhones, as well as tablets, Windows PCs and Macs. No app is needed.
Do I need an internet connection?
Yes, to open the page, load the PDF library and run the security check. The conversion itself happens on your device, and your images are not uploaded.
