Why Convert JPG to PDF?
JPG to PDF conversion places one or more JPG images onto the pages of a PDF document. Combining photos and scans into one PDF makes them easier to send, print and upload, and keeps the pages together. You can choose A4, US Letter or the original image size for each page.
Photos of documents are everywhere: scans of forms, ID proofs, certificates, receipts, signed pages, handwritten notes and screenshots.
Sending them as separate images is messy. Many forms and portals want a single PDF, and a PDF looks more professional and prints more predictably.
Common reasons to convert JPG to PDF:
- A job, school, bank or government portal asks for documents in PDF format.
- You want to send several photos or scanned pages as one file.
- You are submitting a signed document, receipt or proof you photographed.
- You want images to print neatly on A4 or Letter paper.
- You need a single file that opens the same way on every device.
JPG vs PDF at a glance:
| JPG | ||
|---|---|---|
| Purpose | Single image | Document, one or many pages |
| Multiple images in one file | No | Yes |
| Printing on standard paper | Depends on the image | Predictable (A4, Letter) |
| Accepted by forms and portals | Sometimes | Very often |
| Page layout control | None | Page size and margins |
Good to know
- The PDF contains pictures, not text. A PDF made from JPGs holds images of pages, so you can't select or search the text unless you run OCR in another tool.
- File size follows your images. Large photos make large PDFs. Lower the image quality slider to shrink the file.
- A4 and Letter add a small margin. On these page sizes each image is fitted inside the page with a margin and keeps its proportions, so it isn't stretched.
- "Same size as image" makes each page match its picture. This is good for screens and sharing, but pages may be different sizes if your images are different sizes.
What You Can Do With This Converter
- Combine many images into one PDF. Add up to 50 JPGs, each up to 100 MB, and make a single multi-page document.
- Choose the page size. Pick A4, US Letter or "same size as image" to match your needs.
- Control the quality. The image quality slider starts at 90%. Lower values make a smaller PDF, which helps with upload limits.
- Keep proportions. Images are never stretched, even when fitted onto A4 or Letter pages.
- Private by design. Photos are processed in your browser and never uploaded to a server, which matters for ID proofs, certificates and other personal documents.
- Add images your way. Drag and drop, browse, or paste with Ctrl+V.
- No sign-up, no watermark, no fees.
- Works on any device. Windows, Mac, Linux, Android and iPhone, in any modern browser.

Tips for a Clean, Small and Readable PDF
Take clear photos of documents
Use good, even light, hold the camera straight above the page, and avoid shadows. Crop out the background before converting so the page fills the image.
Check the page order
Look at the PDF after converting and confirm the pages are in the order you want. If not, add your images again in the correct order and convert again.
Meeting upload size limits
Many portals limit PDF size, for example to a few megabytes. If your PDF is too large:
- Lower the image quality slider (try 70–80%).
- Resize large photos first with Teasoft's Image Resizer.
- Compress them first with Teasoft's Image Compressor.
- Split the document into two PDFs if needed.
Keep text readable
Don't lower the quality too far for pages with small text. Check the PDF at full size to make sure writing is still clear.
Combine different formats
If some of your images are PNG, HEIC or TIFF, convert them to JPG first with Teasoft's converters, then combine everything here.
Privacy
Because conversion happens in your browser, your photos aren't uploaded anywhere. That makes it suitable for ID proofs, certificates and other personal documents. Still, avoid sharing sensitive PDFs more widely than needed.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I convert JPG to PDF?
Open Teasoft's JPG to PDF converter, add your JPG images, choose the page size and quality, click Convert to PDF and download your PDF.
How do I combine multiple JPG images into one PDF?
Add all your JPG images at once, keep the "Combine all images into one PDF" option on, and click Convert to PDF. Each image becomes a page in a single document.
How many images can I put in one PDF?
You can add up to 50 JPG images in one batch, each up to 100 MB.
What page sizes are available?
You can choose A4, US Letter or "Same size as image". A4 and Letter add a small margin and keep each image's proportions.
Will my images be stretched or cropped?
No. Images keep their original proportions. On A4 and Letter pages they are fitted inside the page with a small margin.
How do I reduce the size of my PDF?
Lower the image quality slider before converting. Resizing or compressing large photos first also helps.
Can I select or search the text in the PDF?
No. The PDF contains images of your pages, not text. To make the text searchable, use an OCR tool after converting.
Can I convert PNG or HEIC photos to PDF?
This tool takes JPG images. Convert PNG, HEIC or other formats to JPG first with Teasoft's converters, then combine them here.
Will converting JPG to PDF reduce image quality?

Are my images uploaded to a server?
No. Conversion happens in your browser, and your files are never uploaded.
Can I convert JPG to PDF on my phone?
Yes. The converter works in the browser on Android, iPhone, tablets and computers. You do not need to install an app.
