How Do You Generate a Star Wars Name?

To generate a Star Wars name, pick a role such as Jedi, Sith, Smuggler, Bounty hunter, Droid, Alien, Clone trooper or Imperial officer, set Gender to Any, Male or Female, and click Generate names. The tool builds each name in the style of that role, tags it with a rank or job, and can add a homeworld, giving you 12 original names in under a second.

Every role in the galaxy has its own naming style. Jedi names sound calm and noble, like Oriotan Darrow, while Sith take a dark title, like Darth Galmor. Smugglers often carry a nickname, like Marra “Ace” Tarn, droids use letters and numbers, like XJ-53, and clone troopers pair a number with a nickname, like CT-8756 “Dice”. Imperial officers come with a rank, like Colonel Teboss Corvane. A name that fits its role makes your character feel at home in the galaxy.

Names are created on your own device. The generator combines role-specific sounds, ranks and homeworlds right in your browser, so names appear instantly and nothing is sent to Teasoft. Only when you click Get more with AI are your role, settings and the names on screen sent to the free Pollinations AI service to suggest more.

How to Generate a Star Wars Name

      Pick a role

Choose your character’s role, such as Jedi for noble names, Sith for dark titles or Droid for designations. Choose Anyone for a mixed list.

      Choose your settings

Set Gender to Any, Male or Female, then choose Name and role, or Add homeworld to see where each character is from.

      Generate and save

Click Generate names to get 12 Star Wars style names. Tap the star beside the ones you like, then copy them or download them as a .txt file.
