How Do You Get a Random Tarot Card Reading?
To get a tarot reading, think of your question, choose a spread and click Draw cards. The deck of 78 cards is shuffled and the cards are laid out in the positions of your spread. Each card shows a short meaning, such as new beginnings for The Fool upright, so you can reflect on how it relates to your question.
A tarot deck has 22 Major Arcana cards, like The Fool, The Lovers and The Tower, and 56 Minor Arcana cards in four suits: Wands, Cups, Swords and Pentacles. When a card is drawn upside down, it is called reversed and often points to a blocked, delayed or inner side of its meaning. Many people use tarot for daily reflection, journaling and creative inspiration.
Cards are drawn on your own device. Your question is never typed in or uploaded. Every result uses your browser’s secure random number generator (crypto.getRandomValues), so it is fair, and nothing you type is sent to Teasoft.

How to Do a Tarot Reading Online
Ask your question
Take a moment to think of an open question, such as “What should I focus on this week?”
Choose a spread
Pick one card, three cards or the Celtic Cross, and decide whether to include reversed cards.
Draw and reflect
Click Draw cards. Read each position and meaning, then note what stands out to you.
Tip: for a daily practice, draw a single card each morning, star it and write one line about what it means to you. Over a few weeks you will learn the deck and notice patterns in your readings.
Which Spread Should I Choose?
| Your goal | Spread | Why |
|---|---|---|
| A daily message | Single card | Quick and easy to reflect on |
| A simple question | Single card | One clear focus |
| Understand a situation | Past, present, future | Shows how things are moving |
| A deep reading | Celtic Cross | Covers challenges, hopes and outcome |
| Learning tarot | Upright only | Fewer meanings to remember |
| Creative writing | Past, present, future | A ready-made story arc |
Tips for a meaningful reading
- Ask open questions. “How can I…” works better than yes or no.

- Read the positions. A card’s place changes how you read it.
- Trust your first thought. Note what the card brings to mind.
- Keep a journal. Look back at readings to see what they meant.
After your tarot reading
