Can I split a PDF or extract pages?
Yes. Split PDF can save every page as a separate file, split every N pages, or use page ranges such as 1-3, 4-6, 7 where each range becomes its own PDF. You can also put only the selected pages into one new PDF.
How much can I compress a PDF?
Choose Light, Recommended or Strong. Light keeps text selectable, Recommended gives good quality at a much smaller size, and Strong makes the smallest file. If a PDF is already well optimised, the tool keeps your original file.
How do I sign a PDF online?
Choose Sign PDF, then draw, type or upload your signature and place it on any page. You can also add text, white out content, highlight or insert an image before you save the signed PDF.
Can I edit text in a PDF?
Edit PDF lets you add new text, cover existing content with whiteout, highlight lines and insert images. To rewrite whole paragraphs, convert the PDF to Word, make your changes, then convert it back with Word to PDF.
How do I password protect a PDF?
Choose Protect PDF, enter a password and decide whether people can print, copy text and images, or edit the document. Anyone opening the file will need the password, so keep it safe because a lost password cannot be recovered.
How do I remove a password from a PDF?
Choose Unlock PDF and enter the password if the file needs one to open. If it opens freely but blocks printing or copying, leave the field empty. The unlocked copy is rebuilt from page images with the text kept searchable. Only unlock PDFs you own or have permission to change.
Will Word, Excel or PowerPoint to PDF keep my layout?
Text, images and tables are kept in most documents. Because conversion runs in your browser, charts, SmartArt and animations in PowerPoint files are not included, and very complex Word layouts may shift slightly.
Can I convert a scanned PDF to Word or Excel?
A scanned PDF contains pictures of pages rather than real text, and this tool does not include OCR. PDF to Word will use page images instead, so the result looks right but the text cannot be edited.
Does it work on iPhone and Android?
Yes. The tool works in Chrome, Safari, Edge and Firefox on phones, tablets and computers. Very large or long PDFs may not finish on phones because of browser memory limits, so use a computer for those files.
How many files can I process at once?
